"He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and your justice like the noonday sun." (Psalm 37:6) The sun shines during the day, and the moon shines at night. The moon cannot shine during the day, nor can the sun shine at night. Each was created by God to shine in its own place and at its appointed time. Just as the moon shines at night and the sun shines during the day, shine where God has placed you and illuminate the world with His light.
When we live with righteousness, kindness, and faithfulness, our lives begin to shine like the dawn. We do not need to compare ourselves with others; we simply need to shine where God has placed us. When our actions reflect His goodness, people see our light and give glory to God. “In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
