About Health Ministry
The Health Ministry of the Little Sisters is a compassionate response to the call to care for life in all its fullness. Rooted in Christian love and service, this ministry is dedicated to promoting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of children, families, and vulnerable members of the community.
Through this ministry, the Little Sisters strive to ensure access to basic healthcare services, health education, and preventive care, especially for those who face barriers to proper medical support. With a heart for the poor and the marginalized, the sisters serve with humility, respect, and deep compassion, recognizing the dignity of every person as a gift from God.
The Health Ministry focuses on maternal and child health, illness prevention, hygiene awareness, and early intervention to promote healthier living. By addressing health needs at both individual and community levels, the ministry seeks not only to heal sickness but also to prevent suffering through education and responsible care practices.
Beyond physical treatment
Beyond physical treatment, the Little Sisters embrace a holistic approach to healing. Emotional support, spiritual guidance, prayer, and encouragement are offered alongside medical assistance, acknowledging that true healing involves the body, mind, and spirit.
This approach strengthens hope, restores confidence, and nurtures resilience among those served.
Working in collaboration
We Work in collaboration with healthcare providers, local institutions, and community partners, the Health Ministry continues to expand its reach while maintaining a personal, family centered approach.
Each act of care reflects the sisters’ commitment to serve Christ in the sick and vulnerable, transforming compassion into action.
Why Our
Work
Matters
Access to healthcare is a fundamental human right, yet many vulnerable children and families face barriers to even the most basic medical support. Our Health Care Ministry exists to bridge this gap with compassion, dignity, and faith.
By providing preventive care, basic medical support, and health education, the Little Sisters protect life at its most fragile stages. Early intervention reduces suffering, prevents avoidable illness, and gives children and families the strength to thrive physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Health is deeply connected to dignity
When individuals receive respectful and timely care, they regain hope, confidence, and the ability to participate fully in community life. Our ministry ensures that no one feels forgotten or alone in times of sickness.
Tailored Solutions
Our work matters because healthy communities are strong communities. By investing in health today, we protect futures, strengthen families, and uphold the sacredness of life entrusted to us.
Christian values
Guided by Christian values, we serve not only to heal the body but also to comfort the heart. Through prayer, presence, and compassionate care, we remind those we serve that they are loved, valued, and never abandoned.
